As Robin Givhan first reported in the Washington Post on August 16th, the merchandise of barackobama.com has expanded to included articles designed by some of the world’s top fashion designers. Available in their Runway for Change section of the online store, are contributions from Vera Wang, Juicy Couture, Diane von Furstenberg, and many more. Although they are more mundane designs then what might be found at Bryant Park Fashion Week, the line will probably have a strong appeal to the “Project Runway” crowd.
